For the past 49 years, EAA - The Spirit of Aviation - has hosted aviation enthusiasts from around the world for one week in its hometown of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The control tower stands tall, at center field, with a banner reading, “World’s Busist Control Tower.” But just as pilots and aircraft controllers identify passenger counts as “souls on board,” it is truly the souls - the spirit - that make this event one to remember and one to which to return. 
 It was my third visit and his first. It certainly will not be our last. Here are some moments from our 2017 adventure in Argentina.
Sometimes it is not about going somewhere new. Sometimes it is about returning. In a different season. With someone new. With a different perspective. Upside-down. But no matter the change we choose, the greatest experience is to allow ourselves to be changed.

Last night, she saw only the foothills, and this morning, the mystic, majestic mountains, some of the highest in the world. Then, nothing. The ceilings dropped, heavy with rain. There was no way to know you were on a mountain, yet you knew.

"Make, don't just take, a photo."
My university professor's words inspire intention in each of my photographs. He did not allow us to edit our photos. To this day, I do not edit the composition of most of my photos. I learned to shoot with film, so I take the time to make the photo. I then just edit the lighting, if needed. Below are a few techniques to improve the aesthetic of your photographs. Choose just one, or a combination, in order to not just document a memory but to create a story that suddenly captivates a complete stranger.
