 It was my third visit and his first. It certainly will not be our last. Here are some moments from our 2017 adventure in Argentina.  Tango. It is just a hug and a walk. But isn't that life, at least how it should be?  This trip was all about sharing: meals, maté, and memories.     We're on a boat!     Perito Moreno. Not sure which is more impressive - the size or the color! When photographing amazing sites, remember, from time to time, to turn around.    Take the detour - Puerto Bandera. Then, stop to see the horses - El Calafate.    Where you are from and where you are going are always (and often brilliantly) interrupted by where you are right now.      The joys of traveling together: bringing the best view with me wherever I go; bringing my favorite part of the trip home; having someone else bear witness to all of the moments in between.        And then we hiked toward that mountain in the distance, Fitz Roy.   Laguna de los tres. Frozen.   Laguna Capri. Natural medicine for sore joints and muscles.  We survived! Cold beer to follow.          The End of the World - Ushuaia, Argentina - by sea and by sky.      Many thanks to Tres Marias and to Aeroclub Ushuaia for their lovely hospitality.  Then it was north, again, to Iguazu.     We slowed down, ending the day walking quietly through the canopy of jungle, wondering of the world before there was a path.
